Mada­line M. Hol­l­i­day, 75, of North East, MD, passed away on Thurs­day, Oc­to­ber 13, 2016 in the Calvert Manor Health­care Cen­ter, Ris­ing Sun, MD.

Born in Renick, WV, on Jan. 30, 1941, she was the daugh­ter of the late Elmer B. and Lula (Camp­bell) Blanken­ship. She was the wife of the late El­wood Dean Hol­l­i­day who died on March 9, 2001.

She is survived by her chil­dren: David Hol­l­i­day of Roy­ers­ford, PA; Keith Hol­l­i­day; Bar­bara Hark­less; Tina Ste­wart, all of North East; a brother, Jerry Lee Blanken­ship of North East; 11 grand­chil­dren; and 10 great grand­chil­dren.

In ad­di­tion to her par­ents and hus­band, she was also pre­ceded in death by a brother, Billy Joe Camp­bell.

Fu­neral ser­vice will be held Mon­day, Oc­to­ber 17, 11 a.m. at Crouch Fu­neral Home, P. A., 127 South Main St., North East, MD, with visi­ta­tion begin­ning one hour prior to the ser­vice.

In­ter­ment will fol­low in North East Methodist Ceme­tery, North East, MD.

Susi, El­iz­a­beth Hyn­son (Ron­ald), Jerome C. Pouska II (Tara), Justin L. Benges, Shan­non E. Brown (Lance) and Kayle M. Benges; and eight great grand­chil­dren.

A grave­side ser­vice will be held on Mon­day, Oc­to­ber 17 at 11 a.m. in St. Stephen’s Ceme­tery, 10 Glebe Road, Earleville, MD.
