James Howard “Jimmy” Tyree, Jr., age 74, of Elkton, MD, passed away on Mon­day, Oc­to­ber 24, 2016. Born in Beck­ley, WV, on Jan­uary 10, 1942, he was the son of the late James H., Sr. and Freda Danger­field Tyree.

Mr. Tyree re­tired from the Chrysler Cor­po­ra­tion, Ne­wark, DE, where he worked in main­te­nance. He was a mem­ber of Loyal Or­der of Moose, Lodge # 851, Elkton. Mr. Tyree en­joyed watch­ing sport­ing events and was an avid fan of the Bal­ti­more Ori­oles.

Sur­vivors in­clude his wife of 53 years, Brenda Ber­nick Tyree; chil­dren, Tammy Tereszcuk and hus­band, Joseph, Elkton, MD, and Ron­ald Tyree, Ne­wark, DE; grand­chil­dren, Kayla and Gavin Tereszcuk; and sis­ter, Joanne Mars, North East, MD.

Fu­neral ser­vice will be held at 1 p. m., Fri­day, Oc­to­ber 28, 2016, at Elkton Church of God, 1121 Singerly Road, Elkton, MD, with visi­ta­tion be­gin­ning at 12 Noon. In­ter­ment will be in Gilpin Manor Me­mo­rial Park, Elkton.
