Seven­teen Ce­cil County soc­cer play­ers earn all-di­vi­sion hon­ors

A trio of Ris­ing Sun girls’ soc­cer play­ers earned Ch­e­sa­peake Di­vi­sion hon­ors, while 15 other play­ers from Ce­cil County were named to the All-Susque­hanna Di­vi­sion squad when the UCBAC an­nounced the two squads on Wed­nes­day.

Tigers ju­nior mid­fielder Jackie Ay­ers re­ceived first-team All-Ch­e­sa­peake Di­vi­sion hon­ors and her team­mate, Kira Wat­son, earned se­cond-team All-Ch­e­sa­peake as a keeper.

North East placed five play­ers on the Susque­hanna Di­vi­sion team af­ter it cap­tured the lower-di­vi­sion crown for a sec­ond­straight sea­son.

Mid­field­ers Rose Ben­jamin and Caro­line Roberts and de­fender Emma Hag­gerty all made first-team Susque­hanna, while for­ward Re­gan Day and de­fender Paige Wil­liams both earned spots on se­cond team for the In­di­ans.

Bo­hemia Manor led all Ce­cil County pro­grams with six play­ers on the lower di­vi­sion squad. For­wards Erin Horsey and Hanna Clarke, mid­fielder Maken­zie Stal­lone and keeper Emily Park all earned first-team Susque­hanna and Katie O’Hare and Bai­ley Pressler both made se­cond-team for the Ea­gles.

Per­ryville for­ward Madison Carr and de­fender Sa­man­tha Koons were both named first-team Susque­hanna, while the Pan­thers’ Erin Stiffler was placed on se­cond-team.

Elk­ton for­ward Emily Cal­darelli was named first-team All-Susque­hanna, re­ceiv­ing the nod for a third-straight sea­son.
