Suggs on Roethlisberger: ‘I saw this movie before’
— Regardless of Ben Roethlisberger’s status on the Steelers’ injury report, Terrell Suggs is certain that Pittsburgh’s starting quarterback will play Sunday in Baltimore.
“Don’t fall for that. Don’t fall for that,” Suggs said Wednesday. “I saw this movie before. He’s going to act like ‘I’m not playing. I don’t know, I did individuals today for a little bit.’ And then he’s going to walk his big [butt] on out there.
“It’ll be like, ‘ How you doing, Benjamin?’ … ‘What’s up, Suggs?’ And then it’s on.”
Roethlisberger underwent surgery to repair a torn a torn left meniscus on Oct. 17. He missed Pittsburgh’s last game, but has returned to practice this week.
Suggs also missed his team’s last game with a biceps injury, but returned to practice during Baltimore’s bye week in preparation to face the Steelers. He knows Roethlisberger won’t miss a chance to play the Ravens, either.
“Don’t fall for that. I’m telling my boys [No.] 7 is playing, and not only that, he’s going to try to light our [butts] up,” Suggs said.
