The Rea­gan Years to play in Havre de Grace

The Rea­gan Years, a well-known 1980s trib­ute band that per­forms up and and down the east coast, will per­form at the Thurs­day Night Live con­cert in Havre de Grace at 7 p.m. on Nov. 10.

Tick­ets for the con­cert are $20 ahead of time and $25 at the door. The con­cert will be held at Frank J. Hutchins Memo­rial Park at on Congress Av­enue. Doors open at 6 p.m.. Food and bev­er­ages will be avail­able.

The con­cert will be held rain or shine, but it will be held in­doors at the com­mu­nity cen­ter on 100 La­garet Lane in the event of in­clement weather.

“Founded in 1996, The Rea­gan Years plays the great­est hits of the 1980s; a day when Ron­ald Rea­gan was Pres­i­dent, M-TV first aired, CDs emerged, Acid Washed jeans were “Cool” and al­ter­na­tive mu­sic was called ‘New Wave,’” the band’s web­site said.

The band per­forms pop, rock, and heavy metal hits from the 1980s, play­ing mu­sic from a wide range of artists in­clud­ing Madonna, Def Lep­pard, and Bon Jovi.

The Rea­gan Years fea­tures Karen El­li­son on key­board and vo­cals, Stephan Scott Lay on vo­cals and acous­tic gui­tar, Glenn Ri­ley on gui­tars and vo­cals, Jody Lewis on bass and vo­cals, and Sy Seyler on drums and vo­cals.

The Rea­gan Years also have up­com­ing shows in Brunswick on Nov. 12 to ben­e­fit St. Jude’s and in Fred­er­ick on Nov. 18. to ben­e­fit Christ­mas Cash for Kids.
