Conowingo Dam to hold fourth Ea­gle Day on Satur­day

— Ea­gle en­thu­si­asts, re­joice. The Conowingo Dam will play host to the fourth an­nual Ea­gle Day at Fish­er­man’s Wharf & Park on Satur­day.

The free event will spot­light bird­ing and wildlife around the dam, with a live demon­stra­tion of birds of prey, a tree stump carv­ing ex­hi­bi­tion by artist Paul Wa­clo and a photo con­test that pits a group of pro­fes­sional pho­tog­ra­phers in friendly com­pe­ti­tion with each other to cap­ture the per­fect ea­gle shot.

Vis­i­tors will also be wel­comed to free drink and food, in­clud­ing burg­ers, brats, pulled pork and chicken. More than 10 wildlife and

DAR­LING­TON

na­ture or­ga­ni­za­tions will put on demon­stra­tions for all ages.

Park­ing and shut­tle bus trans­porta­tion will be avail­able at the Conowingo Vis­i­tor Cen­ter, 4948 Conowingo Road, Dar­ling­ton.
