Steven Eugene Town­ley was born on June 29, 1961 in Elkton, MD, to the late Joan Town­ley. He de­parted this life, to be with the Lord he so deeply loved, on S a t u r day, Novem­ber 12, 2016.

Steven was a ded­i­cated and devoted par­tic­i­pant of Bay­side Com­mu­nity Net­work Inc., for 34 years. Dur­ing th­ese years, Steven worked on var­i­ous projects and de­vel­oped many close friend­ships.

Steven en­joyed danc­ing, lis­ten­ing to mu­sic, watch­ing sit­coms, and quot­ing his fa­vorite shows. Steven loved Oprah Win­frey and the Oprah show. Steven’s great­est joy was spend­ing time with his sib­lings and friends. Steven was a reg­u­lar par­tic­i­pant of Spe­cial Olympics.

Steven was known for his boom­ing voice, bright smile and happy dis­po­si­tion.

Steven is sur­vived by three broth­ers and three sis­ters: Sandy Cain, Ch­eryl Brown, She­lia Brit­ting­ham, Der­ick Town­ley, Bryant Town­ley and Daryl Town­ley. Steven will be deeply missed by his ex­tended fam­ily and friends from Bay­side Com­mu­nity Net­work, Inc.

Funeral ser­vices, con­ducted by the Rev. Cheri Dupree, will be held on Fri­day, Novem­ber 18, 11 a.m. at Crouch Funeral Home,
