Stephen Earle An­der­son, II, age 35, of Elkton, MD, passed away on Wed­nes­day, Novem­ber 9, 2016, sur­rounded by his lov­ing fam­ily fol­low­ing a brief ill­ness. Born in Belleville, IL, on Jan­uary 29, 1981, he was the son of Stephe­nie Em­brich Combs, Elkton.

Mr. An­der­son was a U.S. Navy veteran, hav­ing served with the rank of quar­ter­mas­ter from 20012004, and had been em­ployed as a ma­chine op­er­a­tor. He en­joyed spend­ing time with his daugh­ter and fam­ily.

In ad­di­tion to his mother, sur­vivors in­clude his daugh­ter, Simone E. An­der­son, Wilm­ing­ton, DE; sis­ter, Tif­faney M. Ram­sey and hus­band, Shaun, Ch­ester­town, MD; half-brother, Wil­liam A. An­der­son, Me­chan­ics­burg, PA; aunts, Michele Cul­ley, North Wilkes­boro, NC, and Sherry Pen­berthy, Belleville, IL; and 5 neph­ews.

Mr. An­der­son has gone to be with loved ones who pre­ceded him in death, in­clud­ing his fa­ther, Stephen E. An­der­son; brother, Jonathan; and step-fa­ther, Allen Combs.

Funeral ser­vice will be held at 12 Noon, Thurs­day, Novem­ber 17, 2016, at Hicks Home for Funer­als, 103 W. Stock­ton Street, Elkton, MD, where visi­ta­tion will be­gin at 11 a.m. In­ter­ment with mil­i­tary hon­ors will be in Gilpin Manor Me­mo­rial Park, Elkton.
