Ge­orge F. Den­ney Jr. of Elk­ton, MD, died Novem­ber 16, 2016 at Sea­sons Hospice, Bal­ti­more, with his sis­ter, Sherry (Den­ney) Phillips at his side.

Ge­orge was born Feb. 24, 1970 in Elk­ton, to Lavinia (Pre­ston) Pearthree and the late Ge­orge F. Den­ney Sr.

He is also sur­vived by his nieces, Macken­zie and Kathryn Ni­chol­son; his de­voted friend, Christina (Mom) May; and his long­time friend/brother, Joseph Cul­lum.

Ge­orge loved mu­sic, play­ing gui­tar, rid­ing mo­tor­cy­cles, be­ing with friends and be­ing out­side.

He was pre­ceded in death by lov­ing grand­par­ents, Wil­liam O. and Beu­lah C. Pre­ston and Henry T. Jr. and He­len Y. Den­ney.

A Me­mo­rial ser­vice will be pri­vate for fam­ily and close friends at a later date. Jr., Matthew Sclavos, Stephanie Stur­geon and Karissa Uetz; and 10 great- grand­chil­dren, and one great­great grand­child. In ad­di­tion to her par­ents, she was pre­ceded in death by her hus­band, John A. Sclavos, Sr, sons John A. Sclavos, Jr and Paul Q. Sclavos, Sr.; brothers, Harry Trush, Wil­liam Trush, John Trush; sis­ters, Anna Trush, Catherine Di Giro­lamo, Pauline Baran and Mary Nar­cisso.

Mass of Chris­tain Burial will be of­fered at Noon on Wed­nes­day, Novem­ber 30, 2016 at St. Mar­garet of Scot­land Catholic Church, 2431 Frazer Road, Ne­wark, DE. 19702, where vis­i­ta­tion will be­gin at 11:00. In­ter­ment will fol­low at All Saints Ceme­tery.
