LITTLE LEAGUE Chesapeake City L.L.
Chesapeake City Little League In-person registration will be held on Saturday, Jan. 21 from 9 a.m.-1 p.m.; Saturday, Feb. 4 from 9 a.m.1 p.m. and Wed. Feb. 8 from 6 p.m.-8 p.m. at the CCLL Complex. CECIL COUNTY PARKS & RECREATION Sports and Arts elementary after school programs
Programs are available at multiple elementary schools throughout the county. Most programs begin at dismissal and are one hour in length. Cost of most programs is $32 for a six-week session. Search programs and register at cecilrec.com.
Dog Obedience Training Certified trainer Kathryn Bo-
ris, will lead Level 1 dog obedience training at the Rising Sun Community Center every Friday night, starting on Dec. 9. The six-week program will focus on positive reinforcement to correct and teach proper behavior. The program will run for six weeks on Friday nights from 6-7 p.m. Cost of the program is $110. Dogs must be at least 16 weeks old to be enrolled. Register at cecilrec. com.
Three classes: Wednesday night 6 p.m., Thursday morning 9:30 a.m. (Vinyasa) and Saturday morning 9:30 a.m. (Ages 5-plus). Classes will be guided by Stacy Rodgers and Alexandria Martin at the Cecil Community Center. The six-week classes are ongoing and begin December 8 and 10. Fee for all six weeks is $32. Dropin also available for $6 per class.
Winter Lacrosse Academy
The academy will be held at the Cecil Arena, Sunday mornings for eight weeks and will concentrate on the improvement of lacrosse skills and conditioning,
stickwork, footwork and positional training. The fee for the eightweek session is $75. Open to boys and girls ages 6-15.
High School Indoor Lacrosse Leagues
Top of The Bay Sports will run winter lacrosse leagues at the Cecil Arena starting the first week in January. Find information online at cecilrec.org or register your team at topofthebaysports. com/leagues.
YMCA Youth Outdoor Field Hockey League
Every Saturday from Sept. 10Oct. 29. There will be three divisions for grades 1-8.
Grades 1-3 will practice 9-10 a.m.; Grades 4-5 will practice 1011:30 a.m.; Grades 6-8 will practice 11:30 a.m.-1 p.m.

Youth Volleyball League
Every Monday and Wednesday from 5:30-7:30 p.m. at the YMCA beginning Sept. 12. There will be two new divisions: elementary
grades 1-5 and middle school grades 6-8.
Teams will practice/play once a week.

YMCA Youth Basketball League

Elk Lanes United States Bowling Congress (USBC) Youth Bowling League begins Saturday, Sept. 10 at Elk Lanes, 406 Bow Street in Elkton.
Youth age 7-18 bowl every Saturday morning at 9 a.m. by age divisions. Cost is $9 for three games plus additional sign-up fee the first week.
Bumper bowling league for youth ages 4-6 begins Oct. 22 at 9 a.m. at a reduced rate. For infor-

LACROSSE Rise Lacrosse Indoor Lacrosse League
A Cecil County indoor lacrosse league for boys and girls will run this winter.
Both the boys and girls indoor leagues will run for eight weeks of 7 on 7 action at the Cecil Arena (six weeks of regular season and two weeks of playoffs and championship). Cost is $65 per player.
Boys will run Thursday nights, Jan. 5-Feb. 23. Girls will run Monday nights Jan. 2-Feb. 20.
No long poles, no cleats. Players will wear their own uniforms but teams must have matching colors. Minimum of 10 players per team, no max. All players must have a USL Number and complete the release form. For more information on the league go to www.topofthebaysports. com
