Pair of Golden Elks named first-team All-Susque­hanna in boys’ soc­cer

The Elk­ton boys’ soc­cer team led Ce­cil County squads with a pair of first­team All-Susque­hanna Di­vi­sion se­lec­tions.

Se­nior mid­fielder Serebe Ka­jubi and fresh­man for­ward Ja­cob Bosler were the county’s only first-team picks.

The duo led the Golden Elks to the top seed in the 2A East Re­gion Section I Tour­na­ment and a sec­tional fi­nal berth. Elk­ton en­joyed a 9-2-1 reg­u­lar-sea­son record.

Six Ce­cil County play­ers earned sec­ond-team nods. Elk­ton’s Peter Olakunte and Per­ryville’s Nick Roberts earned the honor on de- fense.

Per­ryville’s Jon Ha­mam­cioglu was cho­sen at mid­field.

For­wards Kevin Makach (Per­ryville), Con­ner Rowe (North East) and Alex Ru­bio (Bo­hemia Manor) were all sec­ond-team se­lec­tions.

Havre de Grace led the way with four first-team se­lec­tions: Aaron Toepfer, Devon Martin, Chris­tian Blackwell and Zack Neary. Edge­wood’s Drew Richter, Dy­lan Kno­ble and Ryan Dean earned first-team nods.

Har­ford Tech’s Ken Cargo and Jop­pa­towne’s Ta­jon Wil­lis rounded out the first team.
