Ann Marie Roberts Gawrych went home to be with her Lord and Sav­ior, Je­sus Christ, on Thursday, De­cem­ber 1, 2016. She was born in Bal­ti­more, MD, to Donna Roberts, of Alabama, and the late John Roberts. Mrs. Gawrych was pre­ceded in death by her brother, Larry Roberts.

In ad­di­tion to her mother, Mrs. Gawrych is sur­vived by her hus­band of 41 years, Michael; her ador­ing daugh­ters, Kristine (Rob Dvo­rak) and Julie; and her grand­sons whom she trea­sured dearly, Brady and Ben. She is also sur­vived by her brother, James, of Alabama; nieces and a nephew; sis­ter-in-law, Shel­ley Roberts, of Penn­syl­va­nia; and long­time special friends, Sharon An­der­son, Carol Bar­row, Gary Holmes Jr., and Mary Heath. Her special friend and prayer buddy, Nancy Holmes, has been wait­ing in heaven for their re­union. She will be greatly missed by her fur ba­bies, Bella and Honey, and her grand­dog, Ruby.

The fam­ily of Mrs. Gawrych would like to ex­tend a special thank you to Dr. S. Sachdev who was al­ways kind and car­ing to her, as well as to her sweet nurse, Lisa, who kept her com­pany and took such good care of her.

Mike would also like to thank the Mary­land State Po­lice fam­ily for their sup­port dur­ing this dif­fi­cult time.

At the re­quest of the fam­ily, the fu­neral ser­vice at Hicks Home for Fu­ner­als, Elk­ton, MD, will be pri­vate, with in­ter­ment in Gilpin Manor Memo­rial Park, Elk­ton.
