Roberta P. Bullen, 90, passed away on Satur­day, Novem­ber 26, 2016. She was born on Au­gust 21, 1926 in Bur­dine, KY, to the late John Auther Plum­mer and Clara (Bel­lomy) Plum­mer.

Roberta was the past com­man­der of the Dis­abled Amer­i­can Veter­ans Aux­il­iary and she vol­un­teered at Perry Point Hos­pi­tal in Per­ryville, MD, for 30 years. She was a proud mem­ber of the St. Rose of Lima Church. Roberta en­joyed craft­ing and be­ing with her chil­dren and grand­chil­dren.

Roberta is sur­vived by two daugh­ters: Mar­garet Bar­low and her hus­band, John C. Bar­low of New Lon­don, PA, and Clara Bullen of Lau­rel, MD; her son, Harry W. Bullen III and his wife, Mar­i­ann of Gaithers­burg, MD; five grand­chil­dren: Chris­tine Bar­low, Heather Bar­low, Harry W. Bullen IV, Pe­ter Bullen and his wife M.J. and Theresa Bullen; one great grand­child, Alexan­der Ro­jas; and two nieces: Su­san Ross and Pa­tri­cia Manlove. In ad­di­tion to her par­ents, Roberta is pre­ceded in death by her hus­band, Harry W. Bullen Jr.; her daugh­ter, Ju­lia Bullen; three sis­ters: Ju­lia Plum­mer, Frances Kel­ley and Grace Wal­lace; and her brother, Den­ver Plum­mer.

A fu­neral ser­vice for Roberta will be held on Fri­day, De­cem­ber 9, 12 p.m. at R.T. Foard Fu­neral Home, P.A., 259 East Main St., Elkton, MD 21921. Fam­ily and friends may be­gin vis­it­ing at 11 a.m. Burial will fol­low at Delaware Veter­ans Memo­rial Ceme­tery.
