Richard Al­lan “Man­sie” Isaacs, 85 of Per­ryville, MD, for­merly of North East, died Fri­day, De­cem­ber 2, 2016.

A life­long res­i­dent of Ce­cil County, he was born in North East on Jan­uary 30, 1931, the son of the late Lewis Isaac, Sr. and the late Eva (Lockard) Isaac.

Mr. Isaac served his coun­try proudly in the U.S. Army, Mil­i­tary Po­lice dur­ing the Korean Con­flict, sta­tioned in Panama.

He re­tired from Perry Point VA Med­i­cal Cen­ter where he worked in the Main­te­nance Depart­ment.

He en­joyed rid­ing his Har­ley, horse­back rid­ing, antique cars, fish­ing, hunt­ing and vis­it­ing the North East Town Park. Most of all he loved spend­ing time with his fam­ily whom he loved very dearly. His faith­ful dog, Johnny Cash was al­ways by his side.

Sur­vivors in­clude three daugh­ters: Mary Mayse of Per­ryville, MD, Theresa Laird of Elkton, MD and Betty Laird of North East, MD; a sis­ter: Janet “Sis” Ham­mer of North East, MD. Grand­chil­dren: Michael Sch­nei­ders, Tanya Na­ton, Courtney Heck­ler, Sarah Riggs, Kelly Hirt, Jamie Laird, and Kenny Laird, Jr. Also sur­vived by 8 great-grand­chil­dren.

In ad­di­tion to his par­ents, he was also pre­ceded in death by seven sib­lings: Al­bert “Abby” Isaacs, Punk Isaacs, Otis Isaacs, Sr., Betty McDaniels, Jean Ed­wards, Lewis “Sonny” Isaacs, Jr., and Doris Wyre.

Fu­neral ser­vice will be held Thurs­day, De­cem­ber 8, 2016 at 11:00 am at Crouch Fu­neral Home, P.A., 127 South Main Street, North East, MD, where the fam­ily will re­ceive guests beginning at
