Po­lice search for teen miss­ing from North East

— A 16-year-old Ce­cil County girl who has been miss­ing since Fri­day may be in Ne­wark, Del., ac­cord­ing to Mary­land State Po­lice.

Kirsten Hirst was last seen wear­ing black leg­gings, a ma­roon hoodie and black and white Adi­das sneak­ers. The teen is con­sid­ered a run­away and is not be­lieved to be at risk or vul­ner­a­ble and has not been kid­napped, ac­cord­ing to po­lice at the Mary­land State Po­lice North East bar­racks.

In­ves­ti­ga­tors have been un­able to lo­cate Hirst through her cell­phone be­cause Hirst got the phone without her mother’s knowl­edge, po­lice said Sunday.

Hirst is 5-feet-6-inches tall with auburn hair and blue eyes.
