Bev­er­ley Aileen (Brown) Pitt, 92, of Ris­ing Sun, MD, passed away peace­fully at home Saturday, De­cem­ber 10, 2016, sur­rounded by her lov­ing fam­ily. Born on Novem­ber 19, 1924 in West Palm Beach FL, she was the daugh­ter of For­rest Ellsworth Brown and Ella Josephine (Ja­cobs) Brown.

When she was two years old her fam­ily moved to Colon, Panama. Fif­teen years later they re­turned to Florida and af­ter her grad­u­a­tion from high school they moved to Havre de Grace, MD. She started her ca­reer as a sec­re­tary at Aberdeen Prov­ing Ground. Af­ter tak­ing time off to raise her daugh­ters she re­turned to APG un­til re­tire­ment.

Bev­er­ley was an avid reader and a won­der­ful oil paint artist. She en­joyed shop­ping and spend­ing time with her fam­ily and friends.

In ad­di­tion to her par­ents, Bev­er­ley was pre­ceded in death by her hus­band of 63 years, Don­ald Pitt, and her brother, Robert Brown of Yuma, AZ.

She is sur­vived by five daugh­ters, Kath­leen Smith (Sam), Donna Reynolds (Robert), Mar­i­lyn Re­burn, Robin Long (Rick) and JoEllen Pitt.

She is also sur­vived by six grand­chil­dren, Ted Re­burn II, Christo­pher Stru­ble, Kelly Smith, Shane Stru­ble, Evan Koldus and Haylee Pinto; three great grand­chil­dren, Zachary, Tan­ner and Quinn Stru­ble.

Fu­neral Ser­vices will be held at Lee A. Pat­ter­son & Son Fu­neral Home, 1493 Clay­ton Street, Per­ryville MD, Wed­nes­day, De­cem­ber 14, 2016 at 12PM. Visi­ta­tion for fam­ily and friends will be 10AM-12PM, prior to the service. Rev­erend Hal Owens of Ris­ing Sun, MD will of­fi­ci­ate.

In­ter­ment will be in Har­ford Memo­rial Gar­dens, Aberdeen MD.
