MST lands record num­ber of Broad­wayWorld award nom­i­na­tions

— Mil­burn Stone Theatre has re­ceived its mostever nom­i­na­tions for the 2016 Broad­wayWorld Bal­ti­more Awards.

That num­ber came to 61 this time around — in the cat­e­gories of Best Act­ing En­sem­ble;

NORTH EAST

Best Ac­tor in a mu­si­cal; Best Ac­tor in a Play; Best Ac­tress in a Mu­si­cal; Best Ac­tress in a Play; Best Theater; Best Chore­og­ra­phy; Best Cos­tume De­sign; Best Direc­tion of a Play or Mu­si­cal; Best Light­ing De­sign; Best New Play or Mu­si­cal; and Best Scenic De­sign.

The awards sys­tem, which op­er­ates on a ba­sis of on­line vot­ing, showed a num­ber of Mil­burn Stone nom­i­nees in the top- three as of Fri­day after­noon. They were: ” Amer­i­can Id­iot” Act­ing En­sem­ble place) Shane Lowry in “Amer­i­can Id­iot” for Best Ac­tor in a Mu­si­cal or Re­vue ( first place) for Best ( sec­ond Melissa Red­field in “A Few Good Men” for Best Ac­tress in a Play ( third place) Ron Jones in “Amer­i­can Id­iot” for Best Chore­og­ra­phy ( sec­ond place) Lance Bankerd in “Amer­i­can Id­iot” for Best Direc­tion of a Play or Mu­si­cal ( sec­ond place) Wil­liam Price III in “Amer- ican Id­iot” for Best Light­ing De­sign ( first place) Bob Den­ton in “Amer­i­can Id­iot” for Best Scenic De­sign ( first place) Mil­burn Stone Theatre for Best Theater ( sec­ond place) Any­one can vote at broadwa yworld. com/ bal­ti­more/ vote2016re­gion. cfm un­til Dec. 31.
