Wilbur Ray Row­land, 72, of Elkton, MD, died Wed­nes­day, De­cem­ber 14, 2016 in the Chris­tiana Hos­pi­tal, Ne­wark, DE.

Born in Havre de Grace, MD, on March 9, 1944, he was the son of the late Wil­lard and Ruby (Farmer) Row­land. He served his coun­try proudly dur­ing Viet­nam in the Army.

Wilbur was an auc­tion­eer and an­tique dealer. He was a lov­ing hus­band, won­der­ful fa­ther and grand­fa­ther.

Sur­vivors in­clude his lov­ing wife: Anita Row­land; their chil­dren: Wilbur R. Row­land Jr., Amanda Blank­ley (Shawn), all of Elkton, MD, and Shan­non Row­land (RJ) of Smyrna, DE; four grand­chil­dren: Bran­don (Ali), Mya, Jozee and Con­nor; four broth­ers: James Row­land (Wanda), Wilmer Row­land (Hazel), Charles Row­land (Deb­bie), Jerry Row­land (Naomi); two sis­ters: Sandy Reed (Bill) and Joyce Collins (Ron­nie); and many nieces and neph­ews.

Memo­rial ser­vices, con­ducted by Rev. Calvin Woodring, will be held Sunday, De­cem­ber 18, 3 p.m. at New Be­gin­nings Chris­tian Fel­low­ship, 790 East Old Philadel­phia Road, Elkton, MD.

A memo­rial reception will be held im­me­di­ately af­ter the ser­vice at Bay Church, 2248 Pu­laski High­way, North East, MD.
