To the viral success of a recent Elkton High School video that sheds light on anti-bullying efforts. Set to Katy Perry’s “Firework,” the video shows EHS students and staff dancing, holding up positive notes and doing good deeds as a way to spread an antibullying message. Since being posted Dec. 7, the video has been watched more than 30,000 times and garnered more than 700 shares. Filmed in part by a professional videographer and the students themselves, the video features a wide cross section of students — not just the typical outgoing people one would expect to participate. After seeing the huge response the video got on social media, they’re already planning for future ones. Good luck and good work!
