Each year, Artspace on Main in Elkton hosts their an­nual, “Empty Bowls” event, where mem­bers of Artspace cre­ate one of a kind bowls for pur­chase, and then at­ten­dees gather to eat and break bread to­gether, know­ing their left­overs and money used for pur­chas­ing each bowl will go to a great cause.

That cause is Way­farer House, a women’s and chil­dren’s shel­ter. Over $ 30,000 dol­lars has been raised in years past, and with this be­ing the eighth year run­ning, come and en­joy a meal and good com­pany for a good cause this Fri­day.
