Enjoy a bowl for charity A bowl of soup that is! Each year, Artspace on Main in Elkton hosts their annual, “Empty Bowls” event, where members of Artspace create one of a kind bowls for purchase, and then attendees gather to eat and break bread together, knowing their leftovers and money used for purchasing each bowl will go to a great cause.
That cause is Wayfarer House, a women’s and children’s shelter. Over $ 30,000 dollars has been raised in years past, and with this being the eighth year running, come and enjoy a meal and good company for a good cause this Friday.
