In­di­ans shut out Pan­thers, 5-0, in girls’ soc­cer

North East shut out host Per­ryville, 5-0, in Susque­hanna girls’ soc­cer ac­tion Tues­day.

Caro­line Roberts scored twice and Sa­van­nah Dorey, Re­gan Day and Jade Tabbs also found the back of the net for the In­di­ans (7-3 over­all, 5-0 Susque­hanna), who re­ceived an as­sist from Alex Hoff­man and eight com­bined saves from Grace Buegel and Delaney McDilda.

The Pan­thers slip to 2-6 over­all and 1-3 in the lower di­vi­sion.

Bo­hemia Manor 2, Elk­ton 0

Katie O’Hare and Kirstin Walz both scored and Hanna Clarke dished out one as­sist for the Ea­gles (5-3-2 over­all, 4-1 Susque­hanna).

The Golden Elks fall to 2-5-2 over­all and 1-4 in the lower di­vi­sion.

UCBAC Vol­ley­ball Ris­ing Sun 3, North East 0

The Tigers won in straight sets by scores of 25-19, 25-18 and 25-9.

Maken­zie Blevins led Ris­ing Sun (9-0 over­all and Ch­e­sa­peake) with 34 as­sists and seven kills. Sophia Eck­erd and Grace Webb each added seven kills, with one dig and one block apiece.

Mag­gie Smith recorded three kills and two blocks while McKayla Sch­nell recorded two blocks and a kill for the In­di­ans (1-8, 1-8).

Per­ryville 3, C.M. Wright 0

The Pan­thers swept by set scores of 25-14, 25-19 and 25-16.

Jor­dan Carr handed out 22 as­sists and Re­becca Hol­man recorded six kills, seven blocks and five digs for Per­ryville (7-2 over­all and Ch­e­sa­peake). Hai­ley Jones had five digs and Bea Mus­cella added four kills.

The Mus­tangs fall to 4-6 over­all and 4-5 in the up­per di­vi­sion.

Bo­hemia Manor 3, Har­ford Tech 0

The Ea­gles im­prove to 8-2 over­all and 7-2 in the Ch­e­sa­peake. The Co­bras fall to 2-8 on the sea­son and 2-7 in the up­per di­vi­sion.

Elk­ton 3, Edge­wood 1

The Golden Elks im­prove to 7-4 over­all and 6-2 in the Susque­hanna.

The Rams drop to 3-6 on the year and 3-5 in the lower di­vi­sion.

Areyh Wil­liams tal­lied two goals and Abby Ri­ley and Maya Allen both scored once for the In­di­ans (8-3 over­all, 6-0 Susque­hanna), who re­ceived two as­sists from Mor­gan Tre­nary and one helper from Kee­gan Carew. Elk­ton 7, Havre de Grace 0

Vanessa Dunn had a mon­ster day, scor­ing three times and dish­ing out two as­sists for the Golden Elks (6-4 over­all, 3-3 Susque­hanna), who re­ceived two goals and two as­sists from Han­nah Moore, one goal each from Casey Ayala and Mag­gie Grant and one as­sist from Ste­fani Mat­sen.

The War­riors fall to 2-7 over­all and 1-4 in the lower di­vi­sion.

Bo­hemia Manor 4, Jop­pa­towne 1

The Ea­gles (1-10 over­all, 1-5 Susque­hanna) notch their first win of the sea­son.

The Mariners fall to 0-8 over­all and 0-6 in the lower di­vi­sion.
