Sea­son 32 of this satir­i­cal an­i­mated com­edy sends up a cer­tain re­al­ity se­ries on another net­work in the sea­son premiere “Un­der­cover Burns,” which finds Mr. Burns (voice of Harry Shearer) go­ing un­der­cover at the nu­clear power plant as “Fred,” a new em­ployee. Much to his sur­prise, Homer (voice of Dan Castel­lan­eta) and the gang make him feel wel­come, and soon “Fred” is putting in new ameni­ties to please his new chums. That doesn’t sit well with the jeal­ous Smithers (Shearer again), how­ever. Guest voices in­clude David Har­bour (“Stranger Things”) and Phil Rosen­thal (as him­self).

8 p.m. on WNUV iHeartRa­dio Mu­sic Festival Night 1

The iHeartRa­dio Musical Festival marks its 10th an­niver­sary in un­prece­dented fash­ion as a two-day vir­tual mega-con­cert event, with re­mote per­for­mances filmed on stages in Los An­ge­les and Nashville, in front of a vir­tual au­di­ence that in­cludes a “fan wall” of iHeartRa­dio lis­ten­ers. This two-night spe­cial, which con­cludes Mon­day, Sept. 28, in­cludes per­for­mances by BTS, Cold­play, Kane Brown with spe­cial guest Khalid, Keith Ur­ban, Mi­gos, Mi­ley Cyrus, Thomas Rhett, Usher and sev­eral oth­ers. Ryan Seacrest is the host.

9 p.m. on FX Fargo

As this quirky an­thol­ogy drama se­ries in­spired by the Os­car-win­ning Coen broth­ers movie re­turns for its fourth sea­son with a two-hour premiere, the set­ting shifts to 1950 Kansas City, Mo., mark­ing the first sea­son in which the show doesn’t take place mainly in Min­nesota or the Dako­tas. Chris Rock heads the cast as Loy Can­non, head of a crime syn­di­cate made up largely of black mi­grants flee­ing the Jim Crow South of the era. Ja­son Schwartz­man, Ben Whishaw, Ti­mothy Olyphant, Uzo Aduba, Jack Hus­ton and Glynn Tur­man also star.
