10 p.m. on WMAR WPVI Emergency Call

Actor Luke Wilson is both producer and host of this new unscripted series, which reveals how crucial the first minutes of any emergency can be. Told largely from the perspective of 911 call takers, the series focuses on the dramatic moments leading up to the arrival of help rather than the events after the firefighters, police or emergency medical service teams arrive. Until help arrives, the person at the other end of the phone line must calm and comfort the victim until they are safe.
