‘Fes­tive Mu­sic for Early Brass & Voices’

“Fes­tive Mu­sic for Early Brass & Voices” is the next con­cert in the Mu­sic at St. Paul’s se­ries. It will fea­ture the Wash­ing­ton, D.C., Cor­nett and Sack­butt Ensem­ble, the pre­miere group of its kind in North Amer­ica that per­forms on his­toric in­stru­ments played by brass en­sem­bles of the late Re­nais­sance and early Baroque pe­ri­ods. The brass ensem­ble, di­rected by Michael Holmes, will be joined by St. Paul’s Se­nior Choir, di­rected by Keith Reas, for a con­cert at 7:30 p.m. Fri­day, Feb. 9, in St. Paul’s Epis­co­pal Church, 305 W.
