Riverfront Nights kicks off 12th season
Muscadine Bloodline headlines first of six summer concerts
The band whose April EP, “Movin’ On,” was No. 1 on Billboard’s Heatseekers Chart and No. 2 on iTunes Country Albums chart will open the 12th season of Riverfront Nights on Saturday, July 14, at Ross’s Landing.
Muscadine Bloodline combines brash Southern rock with ’90s country love songs. The Mobile, Alabama, duo of Gary Stanton and Charlie Muncaster has shared stages with country stars Jon Pardi and Luke Combs since forming in 2016.
Riverfront Nights, sponsored by Friends of the Festival, focuses on local people and organizations that promote healthy lifestyles, sustainable development/ business practices and love of outdoor recreation — all loosely wrapped under the umbrella of “edu-tainment.”
The concert is free and family-friendly with concessionaires on-site.
Muscadine Bl o o d - line’s 2017 self- titled EP earned them over 7 million streams on Spotify. The duo has played Route 91 Festival in Las Vegas, Tortuga Music Festival and Stagecoach Music Festival.
Campbell Station will open the concert. The Nashville trio is made up of Seth Ferguson, Campbell Ross and Elaina Campbell Conner. Their newest EP is “Sweet Tea.”
