Com­edy champ Landry in town

Landry, win­ner of the 2011 Bos­ton Com­edy Fes­ti­val and the 2012 World Se­ries of Com­edy, brings the laughs to the stage at The Com­edy Catch, 1400 Mar­ket St., tonight through Sun­day, Aug. 30-Sept. 2. Born and raised in On­tario, Canada, Landry first hit the stage in 2006. His charis­matic style has been de­scribed as a hy­brid of “Charlie Chaplin with some­body who spoke.”

He earned a spot on TVOne’s show, “Bill Bel­lamy’s Who’s Got Jokes?” in 2008, and he re­cently was an At­lanta fi­nal­ist for NBC’s “Stand Up For Di­ver­sity Show­case.”

Landry has been heard on XM Satel­lite Ra­dio and was the first win­ner of the Punch­line Com­edy Club’s 64 Co­me­dian Su­per Com­edy Com­pe­ti­tion.

Tick­ets are $10 for shows tonight or Sun­day at 7:30 p.m. Tick­ets are $16 for 7:30 and 9:45 p.m. shows ei­ther Fri­day or Satur­day.
