The Cadillac Three

Chattanooga Times Free Press - ChattanoogaNow - - SPOTLIGHT - STAFF REPORT

“The Cadillac Three is one of the hottest outlaw country bands playing today,” says Mike Dougher, talent buyer for Songbirds Guitar Museum.

The Cadillac Three kick off a big week of performances at the Southside venue — seven shows in seven days. Formerly The Cadillac Black, the Nashville trio of Jaren Johnston, Neil Mason and Kelby Ray have been friends and musical collaborators since they were kids.

Johnston co-wrote Keith Urban’s No. 1 single “You Gonna Fly,” as well as “Southern Girl” for Tim McGraw and “Days of Gold” for Jake Owen.

The band’s sound hovers between radio-ready country anthems, hard rock and traditional Southern folk. Expect to hear songs from their newest album, “Legacy,” such as “Dang If We Didn’t,” “American Slang” and “Tennessee.”
