Santa Claus is coming to town

- STAFF REPORT

Santa arrives in town this weekend, and the jolly old elf has quite a busy schedule this season.

The big man knows how to make an entrance! He’ll arrive at Hamilton Place on Saturday, Nov. 10, leading a parade that will circle the mall before ending at the Food Court entrance.

Themed “Toys, Trains & Candy Canes,” the 20th anniversary parade will start at 11 a.m. near Sears.

All money raised through entry fees paid by units in the parade will be donated to the Forgotten Child Fun, which provides Christmas for needy families.

Once settled in his place of honor at the mall, Santa will be there for photos with children as well as photos with family pets. Pet owners may bring their furry friends to the mall each Monday night through Dec. 10.
