Two men were injured in a shooting outside a Brainerd Road nightclub early Sunday morning. A third man later showed up at a local hospital with a gunshot wound, though it’s not clear if his injuries are a result of a separate shooting or the same one.

The first incident happened about 1:50 a.m. when shots were fired in the parking lot of Club Millennium at 3649 Brainerd Road, according to a news release issued on Sunday.

A series of videos posted to Snapchat show a large crowd of loud people gathered in a parking lot. The crowd then moves to another area of the lot when a fight breaks out as the crowd grows louder. The fight seems to subside for a moment until a group again begins throwing punches and someone yells, “Gun, gun, gun!”

Several quick rounds of gunfire follow.

When police arrived on the scene, they found one 21-yearold male victim in the parking lot suffering from injuries that were not life-threatening.

Then police department’s violent crimes investigators were notified that another victim with a life-threatening gunshot wound showed up at a local hospital who had been transported by a private vehicle, police said. The second male victim is 22 years old.

“It was stated that a large fight occurred in the parking lot of the club when gunshots rang out,” Elisa Myzal said in the release.

Later at around 3:50 a.m. Sunday, a 29-year-old man showed up at a local hospital with a gunshot wound that medical staff said was not life-threatening, police said. Investigators attempted to locate a crime scene based on the victim’s description but were unable to find one.

Police didn’t say whether the shootings were linked. The investigations are ongoing.

No information was available on the victims’ most recent conditions.
