DeKalb County law enforcement agents arrested a local man who has been on the run since late October.

DeKalb County Sheriff’s Deputies and Henagar Police Department went to a resident on Andrew Lee Drive in Henagar to serve warrants on Larry Lebron Tidwell, 34, of Henagar.

When deputies and police officers got to the resident they found Tidwell hiding under a bed and found methamphetamine on his person. Deputies and Police offi- cers, according to a press release from DeKalb County Sheriff Jimmy Harris, noticed some tools in the back of a truck Tidwell had been driving, the tools looked like some that had been reported stolen from a business in Henagar earlier in the week. While Deputies and Police officers were at the truck, Tidwell kicked out the back window of the patrol car and ran. A search for Tidwell was initiated but Tidwell was not found. He was arrested on Nov. 22
