Mul­ti­ple hol­i­day week­end drug ar­rests made in DeKalb County

On July 1, deputies were called to a res­i­dence on DeKalb County Road 221 con­cern­ing a sus­pi­cious ve­hi­cle. Once on scene, deputies dis­cov­ered the home had been bro­ken into. In­side the home deputies lo­cated two sus­pects asleep in a bed­room as well as a bag of metham­phetamine, mar­i­juana, and drug para­pher­na­lia.

Ar­rested, ac­cord­ing to DeKalb County Sher­iff Jimmy Har­ris, was An­gelia Bean, 42, of Sum­mer­field, Florida, who was ar­rested and charged with bur­glary in the third de­gree and Ti­mothy Fox, 26, of Ocala, Florida, who was ar­rested and charged with bur­glary in the third de­gree, pos­ses­sion of con­trolled sub­stance, pos­ses­sion of mar­i­juana in the sec­ond and pos­ses­sion of drug para­pher­na­lia. Deputies lo­cated a third sus­pect asleep in­side the sus­pi­cious ve­hi­cle. Brad Keen, 36, of Wild­wood, Florida, was ar­rested and charged with crim­i­nal tres­pass in the third de­gree.

On July 5, two sep­a­rate traf­fic stops re­sulted in three peo­ple be­ing ar­rested and charged with mar­i­juana pos­ses­sion. Dur­ing both traf­fic stops the DeKalb County Sher­iff’s Of­fice K-9 was uti­lized to as­sist in lo­cat­ing the mar­i­juana. Ryan Keel, 25, of Scotts­boro; Jeremy Wad­dell, 24, of Fyffe; and Crys­tal David­son, 39, of Boaz were ar­rested and charged with pos­ses­sion of mar­i­juana in the sec­ond de­gree and pos­ses­sion of drug para­pher­na­lia, ac­cord­ing to the press re­lease from Sher­iff Har­ris.
