Multiple holiday weekend drug arrests made in DeKalb County
On July 1, deputies were called to a residence on DeKalb County Road 221 concerning a suspicious vehicle. Once on scene, deputies discovered the home had been broken into. Inside the home deputies located two suspects asleep in a bedroom as well as a bag of methamphetamine, marijuana, and drug paraphernalia.
Arrested, according to DeKalb County Sheriff Jimmy Harris, was Angelia Bean, 42, of Summerfield, Florida, who was arrested and charged with burglary in the third degree and Timothy Fox, 26, of Ocala, Florida, who was arrested and charged with burglary in the third degree, possession of controlled substance, possession of marijuana in the second and possession of drug paraphernalia. Deputies located a third suspect asleep inside the suspicious vehicle. Brad Keen, 36, of Wildwood, Florida, was arrested and charged with criminal trespass in the third degree.
On July 5, two separate traffic stops resulted in three people being arrested and charged with marijuana possession. During both traffic stops the DeKalb County Sheriff’s Office K-9 was utilized to assist in locating the marijuana. Ryan Keel, 25, of Scottsboro; Jeremy Waddell, 24, of Fyffe; and Crystal Davidson, 39, of Boaz were arrested and charged with possession of marijuana in the second degree and possession of drug paraphernalia, according to the press release from Sheriff Harris.
