Chrisos, Georgia Joy

Age 90. Beloved spouse of Ellen Mallette; loving daughter of the late Nick and Maria ( Bay) Chrisos; cherished sister of the late Athena ( Peter) Barounes, the late Dr. Sam ( Lydia) Chrisos and the late Helen ( Cliff) Thompson; proud aunt, grandaunt and greatgrandaunt of many nieces and nephews; dear cousin, friend and neighbor.

Fondly known as "Teach" by her former students, Ms. Chrisos was a Chicago Public Schools teacher at Davis Elementary School Playground for 34 years. She served for ten years as membership chairman for the Chicago District of the American Association of Health, Physical Education, Recreation and Dance and was an officer with the Playground Teachers’ Women’s Fellowship Club and member of The Henry Suder Club an organization for women physical education teachers.
