3 charged after woman stabbed by sister: cops

Three people are facing misdemeano­r charges after a woman was stabbed during a fight with her sister Monday night in the South Side Gresham neighborho­od.

Taijah McKinney, 21, was fighting with her sister, 25- year- old Jessica Foster, about 11: 40 p. m. in the 7600 block of South May when McKinney was stabbed in the left cheek, according to Chicago Police. She was in good condition, police said.

Foster, of the 6600 block of South Oakley, was charged with simple assault, and resisting or obstructin­g a peace officer, both misdemeano­rs, police said.

McKinney, of the 7600 block of South May, was charged with two misdemeano­r counts of battery causing bodily harm, police said.

A third person, 46- yearold Marvin McKinney, was charged with one misdemeano­r count of resisting or obstructin­g a peace officer.
