Age 75, passed away on Sunday, December 4, 2016 with his loving family by his side.

Joseph is survived by his loving wife of 48 years, Maria ( nee Bochnak) Maciasz; children, Joseph Maciasz, Beata ( Ralph) Kiljan; grandchild­ren, Sonia Kulawiak, Priscilla Kulawiak, Tribecca Kulawiak, Aisha Kiljan and Brandon Kiljan; brother, Edward ( Nina) Maciasz; sisters, Vickie Nowak, Anna ( Gus) Kozarzewsk­i, Stephanie ( the late Bruce) Ventura and Kristine Maciasz; and sisters- in- law, Alice Maciasz and Anna ( Frank) Kopec and children; numerous nieces, nephews and cousins.

Preceded in death by his parents, Anthony and Elizabeth; brother, Casey Maciasz; and brother- inlaw, Bruce Ventura.

Joseph was born in Poland and came to Chicago in 1961. He was a proud business owner and worked as a mechanic on the Railroad as well. He will be truly missed by all who knew him.

A celebratio­n of Joseph’s life will begin on Friday, December 9, 2016 with prayers in the funeral home chapel at 10: 30 a. m. then driving in procession to St. Ambrose Catholic Church in Crest Hill for a Mass of Christian Burial to be held at 11: 00 a. m. Interment to follow at Resurrecti­on Cemetery in Justice. Visitation will be on Thursday, December 8, 2016 at Tezak Funeral
