Atlantic University School of Medicine is located on the beautiful island of Saint Lucia, an ideal stress free environment that allows students to focus on the rigorous preclinical curriculum of medical school. The fifth semester and clinical clerkship are completed at accredited teaching hospitals in the United States and United Kingdom. The Clinical Program is conducted over a seventy– two week period, divided into six 12- week semesters, providing a broad exposure to the clinical disciplines of Internal Medicine, Surgery, Pediatrics, Obstetrics & Gynecology, Family Medicine, and Psychiatry. Upon completion of their fifth semester students can begin an elective rotation while preparing, taking, and waiting for their USMLE scores.
