1. North Carolina: A con­sen­sus top- 10 player, 6- 7 Nas­sir Lit­tle, heads the class that fea­tures two in- state four- star guards — Coby White and Re­chon Black. Tar Heels still in the mix for her­alded Zion Wil­liamson as well.

2. Kansas: Off to a great start with five- star point guard Devon Dot­son. There is size in 6- 9 Sil­vio De Sousa and 6- 9 David McCor­mack, a pair of top- 50 re­cruits.

3. Michi­gan State: Tom Izzo re­stocks the cup­board with a five- player class, in­clud­ing four top- 100 prospects and four in- state play­ers. The head­lin­ers are 6- 9 Mar­cus Bing­ham and 6- 7 Gabe Brown.

4. LSU: Rugged 6- 10, 230- pound Nazreon Reid, a top- 20 prospect in the coun­try, and combo guard Ja’Vonte Smart, a lo­cal kid from Ba­ton Rouge, heads a stel­lar class with three top- 100 play­ers.

5. USC: A trio of four- star re­cruits all ranked in the top 100 — 6- 8 wing Taeshon Curry, 6- 4 point guard Eli­jah Weaver and 6- 5 shoot­ing guard Kevin Porter — gives the Tro­jans a sec­ond straight im­pres­sive re­cruit­ing class.

6. Mary­land: Home­grown Jalen Smith, a 6- 10 for­ward from Bal­ti­more and top- 30 prospect, is the prize of the class. Combo guard Eric Ayala and 6- 6 Aaron Wig­gins are both top- 100 re­cruits.

7. Michi­gan: There is strength in num­bers in this five- man class, in­clud­ing four ranked in the top 150. The Wolver­ines landed a top- 50 for­ward in ver­sa­tile Ig­nas Brazdeikis and stole 6- 8 Bran­don Johns out of East Lans­ing.

8. Duke: No class has a bet­ter 1- 2 punch so far than what Coach K has se­cured. Cam Red­dish is a 6- 7 do- it- all and the No. 3 ranked player in the coun­try. Point guard Tre Jones is a top- 10 prospect. But this class could rise to the top with the ad­di­tion of 6- 7 for­ward R. J. Bar­rett, the na­tion’s No. 1 player who will an­nounce Fri­day if he plans to sign.

9. Wake For­est: Jaylen Hoard, a 6- 8 star, is a top- 25 prospect na­tion­ally, while 6- 8 Isa­iah Mu­cius and point guard Jamie Lewis are a pair of four- star prospects.

10. Texas: Shaka Smart has lined up a strong re­cruit­ing class for the third straight year. The four- player class in­cludes con­sen­sus top- 50 prospects in 6- 9 Ka­maka Hepa and 6- 6 wing Ger­ald Lid­dell.
