2 IN­JURED IN SHOOT­ING ON CHI­NA­TOWN FEEDER RAMP

Two peo­ple were shot Mon­day night on the Chi­na­town feeder ramp on the South Side.

The shoot­ing hap­pened about 11: 55 p. m. on the ramp to the out­bound lanes of the Steven­son Ex­press­way ( I- 55), just south of Cer­mak, ac­cord­ing to Illi­nois State Po­lice.

The vic­tims told po­lice they were driv­ing when a black Jeep pulled up along the driver’s side and fired sev­eral shots at the ve­hi­cle.

A 22- year- old man was shot in the back of the neck, and a 21- year- old man was shot three times in the back and once in the arm, ISP said. Both were trans­ferred to Stroger Hos­pi­tal, where their con­di­tions were sta­bi­lized.

A third per­son in the ve­hi­cle was not in­jured.
