International Kia of Orland Opens New Facility

- BY JOHN STEIN

International Kia of Orland recently welcomed the public to its new location, 8821 W. 159th St. in Orland Hills. Celebrating the 30,000-square-foot facility’s grand opening, Francis Mauro, co-owner of International Kia, represented the family-owned International Autos group and accepted a plaque recognizing the opening of the all-new Kia dealership.

Mauro acknowledged the challenges it takes to compete in the modern auto market and gave credit to the entire team at International Kia for their efforts and commitment to getting the dealership locale open for business.

International Kia General Manager, Michael Castagnino says that it has been a long road getting to this point where they can welcome customers into their new home. “We are extremely excited to be open and at this great Orland location,” he says.

For an auto group whose slogan is Our Ordinary Needs to be Extraordinary, Castagnino has high hopes for the Kia dealership that features some of the industry’s most impressive vehicles. “Our slogan is part of the entire ownership group,” explains Castagnino. “Whether it’s a high-end luxury brand or our Kia dealership, there’s a commitment to excellence and our customers can expect to get the same outstanding service.”

Whether it’s the new 8-passenger Sedona for families or the exciting sportiness of the Stinger, Kia has been steadily growing in popularity over the last decade by offering exciting design, impressive high-tech offerings and one of the best warranties in the industry. The vehicles Castagnino is most excited about in 2019 include the Stinger and the Forte.

According to Castagnino, the reason for the steady growth of the Kia brand is the value it offers customers. “People work really hard for their money and we want them to have a great experience with Kia,” he says, noting the industry-leading warranty that backs up the brand’s value. “Kia really stands behind its vehicles.”

The new International Kia of Orland facility will feature a contemporary showroom floor space that can showcase 10 vehicles. In addition, Castagnino says that during the winter months, the service area is utilized to expand the viewing space for customers so they can avoid any inclement weather. In addition to the showroom space, International Kia will have 16 service bays available and a capacity to handle more than 50 vehicles a day.

Asked about the Orland-area market, Castagnino says it is a great place to be located. “We are really excited to be opening up here in Orland. It is a great location with impressive demographics and a lot of traffic on 159th,” he says.

Castagnino says the facility offers all sorts of creature comforts for customers. From food and drink availability to charging stations and big screen TVs, the Kia commitment to a great customer experience is strong. Customers will also enjoy complimentary loaners and home adno=STM000107332001 pickup and drop-off services.
