This work is necessary because trees interfering with electric lines can cause service outages and safety hazards. Line clearance is not required on all properties in these areas. No line clearance work will be performed on wires running from utility poles to homes or buildings. Maps of the affected areas are on file at local municipal or county offices. All trees requiring maintenance in each area will be addressed during these projects.
