Butler hurting, but Heat finish off sweep
Jimmy Butler was limited to six points and 23 minutes by a strained left shoulder, but the Heat completed a four-game sweep of the Pacers with a 99-87 victory in the NBA playoff bubble in Orlando, Florida. Goran Dragic scored 23 points to lead the Heat, who outscored the Pacers 38-3 off the bench.
♦ LeBron James had 30 points and 10 assists despite sitting out most of the second half, and the Lakers opened a 29-point halftime lead before coasting past the Trail Blazers 135-115 for a 3-1 lead in their first-round series. Blazers star Damian Lillard left with an injury to his right knee in the third quarter.
♦ The 76ers fired coach Brett Brown a day after his seventh season ended in a postseason sweep at the hands of the Celtics in the first round of the playoffs.
