Heat rally past Celtics for 2-0 lead
Goran Dragic scored 25 points, Bam Adebayo led a big third-quarter rally to finish with 21 and the Heat pulled off another comeback to beat the Celtics 106-101 and take a 2-0 lead in the Eastern Conference finals. The Heat, who trailed by 13 at halftime, outscored the Celtics 37-17 in the third quarter with Adebayo scoring 15 points on 7-for-8 shooting for a 84-77 lead.
The Celtics’ Jaylen Brown missed a corner three-pointer that would have tied it with 15 seconds left. Jimmy Butler sealed the game with two free throws with 7.4 seconds left for the Heat.
Las Vegas Aces star A’ja Wilson was named the WNBA’s MVP.
