Packers (3-4-1)

Chicago Tribune (Sunday) - - BEARS -

11⁄2 games behind the Bears and Vikings

The Packers are below .500 through eight games for the first time since coach Mike McCarthy’s first season in 2006. Needless to say, pressure is mounting in Green Bay, where expectations were high that the team’s failed playoff bid last year was an aberration attributed to quarterback Aaron Rodgers missing nine games. The Packers are 0-4 away from Lambeau Field, joining the Browns, Raiders, 49ers and Cowboys as the only teams without a road victory. That makes Week 11 at Seattle and Week 12 at Minnesota huge. The Packers dealt safety Ha Ha Clinton-Dix to the Redskins, and while it wasn’t quite the white flag the Lions raised when they shipped receiver Golden Tate to the Eagles, it makes you wonder. “We have lost games before here, but this just feels different,” receiver Randall Cobb told ESPN. “And it doesn’t feel good. It’s not fun. But we have to figure something out.”
