Climbing - - GEAR BIG REVIEW -

At just under 9 ounces, the Cassin Gear Up provides a light, versatile double gear sling when harness loops won’t cut it. Two massive, adjustable side loops hold as much pro as you can handle. Three adjustment straps dial in fit, while 3-D mesh and aerated padding keep the rig comfy. Our tester, who used it to practice aid climbing in Boulder Canyon, said her favorite feature was how the straps separate into two independent gear slings. While you wouldn’t want to mess with it mid-climb—it requires adjusting non-quick-release buckles—the unisex Gear Up provides three sling options in one: a double gear sling, a single gear sling, or two single gear slings (one per climber). Our tester called the rig “comfy in any configuration.” $50,
