WHAT IS YOUR 7 TRAIN­ING REG­I­MEN?

In win­ter, I train five days a week, do­ing a com­bi­na­tion of boul­der­ing, Beast­maker hangboard work­outs, sys­tem- board cir­cuits, and gen­eral fit­ness. I fo­cus on power for 10 weeks and then do two weeks of en­durance and sport­climb­ing train­ing at the end of the two months. Then I climb out­side the rest of the year.

IF YOU DIDN’T 8 CLIMB, WHAT WOULD YOU DO WITH YOUR FREE TIME?

I’ve al­ways wanted to try surf­ing and div­ing.

NON- CLIMB­ING 9 OB­SES­SION?

I’ll lie on my couch at night watch­ing TV and movies. City of God and Amer­i­can Beauty are two of my fa­vorite films.

I also work as a ra­dio­g­ra­pher, read­ing X- rays and MRIs in a hos­pi­tal. The sched­ule is re­ally flex­i­ble: two night shifts dur­ing the week and then a 24- hour shift on the week­end, and that’s it for the month.
