In their new cook­book, All Time Best Ap­pe­tiz­ers, they show how to use sim­ple in­gre­di­ents to cre­ate crowd-pleas­ing starters in min­utes. The key: “A one-bite ap­pe­tizer needs to be packed with fla­vor with­out go­ing over­board,” ex­plain the chefs, who bal­ance in­dul­gent in­gre­di­ents (like ba­con) with fresh crisp el­e­ments (like chives).
