Daughters Share Fond Memories
Casablanca star Ingrid Bergman wasn’t afraid of hard work, according to her daughters, Pia Lindström, and Ingrid and Isabella Rossellini. “She [taught us] how to clean the house very well and organize everything!” Isabella, 65, shared with Closer at the American Theatre Wing Centennial Gala in NYC on Sept. 18. But it wasn’t all chores. Pia, 79, explained that the best memories with their mother were made during summers spent on the island of Dänholm. “We were really happy there, far away from everybody,” she said. Adds Ingrid, 65, “It’s a very special place.”
Ingrid died from cancer on her 67th birthday in 1982.
