It seems that no one in the gun in­dus­try is tak­ing much time off. Com­pa­nies have been con­tin­u­ally in­tro­duc­ing new prod­ucts and up­dated mod­els to their ex­ist­ing lines. Here are some of the best we found:

01. SMITH & WES­SON MODEL 360

Smith & Wes­son has added an­other re­volver to its line of J-frame snub­bies. The new five-shot Model 360 is cham­bered in .357 Mag­num. It has a light­weight scan­dium al­loy frame and an un­fluted stain­less steel cylin­der, giv­ing it a to­tal weight of just 14.9 ounces. The Model 360 fea­tures a black fin­ish with Flat Dark Earth (FDE) com­bat grips. The sights are a red ramp front with a groove rear.

02. STEYR M9-A1 IN OD GREEN

Steyr Arms is now of­fer­ing its M9-A1 pistol with an OD Green frame. That color is noth­ing new for Steyr, which has used it for about 50 years in its SSG69 ri­fle and the AUG (StG77). The M9-A1 is a full-size, striker-fired 9mm pistol with a 4-inch bar­rel. Its low bore axis and a frame that al­lows for a high grip to keep muz­zle rise to a min­i­mum, al­low­ing for quick fol­low-up shots. There’s a Pi­catinny rail for mount­ing a light or laser. The pistol also fea­tures an in­te­grated trig­ger safety. The sights are a unique trape­zoidal de­sign for quick align­ment. There’s also a built-in keyed trig­ger lock. The magazine ca­pac­ity is 17 rounds.

03. LIMITED EDI­TION KAHR PIS­TOLS

Kahr Arms is in­tro­duc­ing two new limited edi­tion pis­tols that will be of­fered ex­clu­sively through Gallery of Guns. The CW3833PBR, shown, is cham­bered for .380 ACP. It has a 2.5-inch bar­rel, and weighs a mere 10.2 ounces. It’s 5 inches long with a height of 3.9 ounces. One six-round magazine is in­cluded. The pistol fea­tures a bar-dot sights. The CW9093PBR is cham­bered in 9mm and is a bit larger, with its 3.5-inch bar­rel and a weight of 15.8 ounces. It’s 5.9 inches long with a height of 4.5 inches. It comes with one seven-round magazine. Both pis­tols fea­ture a Desert Tan frame, with the stain­less steel slide, trig­ger and slide stop lever fin­ished in Pa­triot Brown Cer­akote.

04. SPRING­FIELD AR­MORY RANGE OF­FI­CER ELITE

Spring­field Ar­mory has added four new pis­tols to its pop­u­lar Range Of­fi­cer se­ries. The Range Of­fi­cer Elite pis­tols are avail­able in Com­pact, Cham­pion, Tar­get and Op­er­a­tor mod­els in both 9mm and .45 ACP. The RO Elite Com­pact, shown, uses a light­weight forged al­loy frame. Its forged steel slide fea­tures a Black-T fin­ish for cor­ro­sion re­sis­tance. It has a 4-inch bull bar­rel with a full feed ramp. It has a fiber op­tic front sight and a tac­ti­cal ledge, white-dot rear sight. Other fea­tures in­clude a cap­tured flat wire re­coil spring, am­bidex­trous safeties, thin-line G-10 grips and Spring­field Ar­mory’s Gen 2 trig­ger.

05. RUGER LCP II WITH VIRIDIAN LASER

Ruger’s up­dated LCP II is now be­ing of­fered from the fac­tory with a Viridian laser in­stalled. The LCP II is the company’s pocket pistol in .380 ACP. It’s just 5.17 inches long and 3.71 inches in height. It has sev­eral fea­tures that dif­fer from the orig­i­nal LCP, in­clud­ing a re­designed, tex­tured grip frame, more prom­i­nent sights, lighter trig­ger that’s closer to a sin­gle ac­tion, a bladestyle safety in­side the face of the trig­ger and a slide that locks open af­ter the last round is fired. In­cluded are a magazine floor­plate with fin­ger ex­ten­sion, a pocket hol­ster and one six-round magazine. The laser is Viridian’s E-Se­ries red laser. Viridian also makes a green laser and a white light for the LCP II.

06. REX ZERO 1T TAC­TI­CAL MODEL

The Fime Group has in­tro­duced the Arex Rex Zero 1T tac­ti­cal model. This com­pe­ti­tion-ready 9mm is packed with fea­tures. It comes with two 20-round mag­a­zines, an op­tics-ready slide with four in­cluded mount­ing plates, a 1.5x28-threaded bar­rel, am­bidex­trous safeties and magazine re­leases, Pi­catinny ac­ces­sory rail and steel white-dot sights. The pistol fea­tures an alu­minum frame with a steel lock­ing block in­sert. The gun can be car­ried cocked and locked or as a tra­di­tional DA/SA with the slide stop lever also serv­ing as a de­cocker.

07. CEN­TURY ARMS SHIP­PING CANIK TP9DA

Cen­tury Arms, the ex­clu­sive im­porter of Canik pis­tols, has an­nounced that the Canik TP9DA pistol is now avail­able. The 9mm pistol is a striker-fired, poly­mer-frame pistol that op­er­ates more like a tra­di­tional DA/SA ham­mer gun. There is a de­cocker mech­a­nism on top of the slide just ahead of the rear sight. It al­lows you to de­cock the striker so that the pistol can be car­ried with a heav­ier first trig­ger pull, more like a double ac­tion. Ca­pac­ity of the pistol is 18+1 rounds. It fea­tures a 4.07-inch bar­rel and weighs 1.73 pounds over­all. The pistol is avail­able with ei­ther a black or burnt bronze Cer­akote fin­ish. A poly­mer hol­ster with both belt and pad­dle at­tach­ments are in­cluded.

08. COAST PX1R

The new PX1R EDC light from Coast uses a recharge­able lithium-ion bat­tery pack that fea­tures a mi­cro USB port so the charge cord can be plugged directly into it. It can also be pow­ered by three con­ven­tional AAA bat­ter­ies. The light pro­vides up to 460 lu­mens, good for a dis­tance of up to 508 feet. The beam is ad­justable from flood to spot with a twist of the fo­cus head. Avail­able col­ors are red, blue, green, orange and black.

09. SWAB-ITS BORE-STICKS AVAIL­ABLE IN 9MM

Swab-its new 3-in-1 Bore-Sticks make gun-clean­ing tasks much eas­ier. The Bore-Sticks fea­ture cal­iber-spe­cific foam swabs at­tached to a polypropy­lene han­dles, elim­i­nat­ing the need for sep­a­rate clean­ing rods, jags and patches. The lint-free, re­us­able swabs fit tightly and ex­pand into the ri­fling grooves for thor­ough clean­ing of the bore. Four Bore-Sticks are in­cluded in each pack­age. The 9mm model will also fit the .380, .38 and .357. The foam swabs can be washed with soap and wa­ter and reused re­peat­edly. 10. AC­TION TAR­GET PT TWIST RIMFIRE TAR­GET

You can keep your range ses­sions fun by shooting some steel with your .22LR. The new PT Twist Rimfire from Ac­tion Tar­get is a three-pronged tar­get formed from a sin­gle piece of steel. The tar­get doesn’t need to be re­set. A hit in the tar­get zone causes the unit to roll so that the next tar­get prong flips up. Keep hitting it and it will keep mov­ing in the same di­rec­tion. The tar­get is made of A524B steel that’s 3/16 inch thick. Be­cause it’s made from one piece of steel, there are no welds or bolts to break.
