Agent’s non­stop work helps his clients and lo­cal com­mu­nity

As a pri­vate in­ves­ti­ga­tor and cer­ti­fied foren­sic in­ter­roga­tor, Michael DeBi­ase de­vel­oped some se­ri­ous ne­go­ti­at­ing skills. Af­ter leav­ing his cor­po­rate po­si­tion as se­nior man­ager for loss preven­tion, he de­cided to ven­ture into a new ca­reer, with real es­tate as his cho­sen field.

“I be­lieve that be­ing a foren­sic in­ter­roga­tor helps me ne­go­ti­ate on my clients be­half and pride my­self in un­der­stand­ing and em­pathiz­ing with clients and their sit­u­a­tions,” DeBi­ase ex­plains I take their bur­den and make it my goal to put them at ease.”

In four short years, DeBi­ase has grown to the top 3% of Real­tors na­tion­ally. He cred­its that in part to hav­ing a clear and very strict mantra: “to make ev­ery client a rav­ing fan for life and achiev­ing that through hard work, ded­i­ca­tion, and utiliz­ing proven sys­tems that de­liver val­ued re­sults”.

DeBi­ase also makes sure that he uti­lizes the most ba­sic form of com­mu­ni­ca­tion: “I pick up my phone and give time to each and ev­ery client.”

DeBi­ase heads the MAPP team, which stands for Michael DeBi­ase & As­so­ci­ates Pre­miere Prop­er­ties. The team is com­prised of five in­di­vid­u­als with di­vi­sions in Res­i­den­tial, Lux­ury Res­i­den­tial, and Com­mer­cial real es­tate ser­vices.

When asked what mar­ket­ing strate­gies he uti­lizes, he stresses the im­por­tance of us­ing dig­i­tal and on­line sources.

“Dig­i­tal. Dig­i­tal. Dig­i­tal. Email, Face­book, In­sta­gram, Twit­ter, LinkedIn, etc. It’s the dig­i­tal age and you have got to be mar­ket­ing your list­ings dig­i­tally,” DeBi­ase ex­plains. “I also have a large data­base that I con­nect with monthly.”

“Keller Williams is an ‘ In­tra’prenurial com­pany, mean­ing they al­low me to grow my own busi­ness with in theirs.”

The MAPP team is very char­i­ta­ble and a part of the com­mis­sion from ev­ery sale is given to one of four lo­cal char­i­ties in­clud­ing Make A Wish, PAWS, St Jude, and In­trepid Fallen He­roes. DeBi­ase also cre­ated the Turkey 1000, where for the past 7 years he has raised money and de­liv­ered over 1000 Thanks­giv­ing tur­keys to churches, foun­da­tions, fam­i­lies, or any­one in need.
