Berk­shire Hath­away spon­sors La Bamba with the Stars

NOR­WALK — Berk­shire Hath­away HomeSer­vices New Eng­land Prop­er­ties’ Nor­walk and Roway­ton of­fices will hold La Bamba with the Stars on Oct. 12 at Nor­walk Con­cert Hall.

All of the pro­ceeds will ben­e­fit The Sun­shine Kids Foun­da­tion, an or­ga­ni­za­tion ded­i­cated to help­ing kids with can­cer.

“A fun evening with live mu­sic, movie stars and a great movie is the best way to raise funds and aware­ness for The Sun­shine Kids, an or­ga­ni­za­tion ded­i­cated to bring­ing joy to the lives of young can­cer pa­tients,” said Nancy Pan­to­liano, the of­fice leader of the Nor­walk and Roway­ton of­fices.

The event will fea­tures spe­cial guests, in­clud­ing G. W. Bai­ley, Rosanna DeSoto and Bob Pi­cardo ( Star avail­abil­ity is sub­ject to change).

The ad­mis­sion of $ 35 in­cludes live mu­sic fea­tur­ing The Tor­res Trio, hors d’oeu­vres, a sig­na­ture cock­tail, a silent auc­tion, a movie and celebrity Q& A.

The event on Oct. 12 will be at 125 East Ave. at Con­cert Hall in Nor­walk. Doors open at 6: 45 p. m. VIP pre- event tick­ets are $ 100.

In Con­necti­cut and Westch­ester County, N. Y., Sun­shine Kids works with chil­dren be­ing treated for can­cer at both, Con­necti­cut and New York hos­pi­tals. The money raised will be used to­ward trips and ac­tiv­i­ties for young can­cer pa­tients. The Sun­shine Kids fam­ily is ded­i­cated to pro­vid­ing the most ex­cit­ing ac­tiv­i­ties, trips and events, free of charge, for as many young can­cer pa­tients as pos­si­ble.
