Change for the good

Connecticut Post - - OPINION - The writer is research director at the Center for Consumer Freedom in Washington, D.C.

Nice to see the Connecticut Post banner flying unencumbered by the likes over the banner boxes that aim to call attention to some story or other.

Once more, congratulations to the makeup artist, and Dan Haar’s photo and name slip to just above the fold.

And, actually, Drew Brees did not pitch his milk bottle out the crib, he used his feet as the Y of a slingshot and his hands to pull the sling back holding the bottle, and only then, let go to see it fly out of the bassinet.

Also, as the editorial page editor might have noticed, the quotation of Lao Tzu does not say a bike but “a single step.”

“A journey of a thousand miles begins with a single step.”

So, try walking.

Besides, I’d trust a sidewalk before I would a bike lane in most towns and on most highways and byways.
